Abstract

The corn harvest area in 2024 reached 0.41 million hectares or increased by 0.04 million hectares (11.13) percent compared to 2023.

In line with the harvest area, the production of dry shelled corn with a water content of 14 percent in 2024 reached 2.43 million tons, or increased by 0.25 million tons (11.59 percent) compared to 2023.

The corn production in 2024 placed Central Java as the province with the second largest corn production nationally, after East Java.
