Special Committee Meeting for Draft Regional Regulation for Development for 2025-2045

The special committee (Pansus) of the Banjarnegara DPRD is currently working on a Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) for the Regional Long Term Development Plan (RPJPD) for 2025-2045.

Head of Baperlitbang Banjarnegara Yusuf Agung said that the 2025-2045 RPJPD Draft Regional Regulation will now begin to be discussed on 25-27 June 2024 by people's representatives at the Banjarnegara DPRD Building.

"This document contains the vision, mission and long-term development direction of a region," he said.

Agung also explained that the RPJPD is the basic stage for anyone, including prospective leaders, in creating a vision and mission to develop Banjarnegara in the future.

"The RPJPD is also the basis for the 5-year Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) document for the future elected Regent," he continued

He also explained that in the discussion process the relevant OPD and related stakeholders were also invited, including the head of BPS Banjarnegara Regency as the supervisor of statistical data.

Meanwhile, the head of BPS Banjarnegara Regency, Edwin Prayoga, on this occasion conveyed several things to support the discussion of the RPJPD Draft Regional Regulation.

"We convey information regarding the economy and welfare, employment and entrepreneurship conditions as well as human development conditions in Banjarnegara Regency," he said.

He hopes that this discussion can increase the knowledge, information and confidence of the Special Committee members in discussing the RPJPD document.

"The existing statistical data can be used in the base line for planning for the next 20 years in Banjarnegara Regency," concluded Edwin.
