Training for Officers Updating Business Directory/Economic Entrepreneurs of BPS Banjarnegara Regency

BPS Banjarnegara Regency held Training for Officers in Updating Business Directories/Economic Entrepreneurs for two days, where on June 25 2024 it was held offline in the hall of the Banjarnegara Regency BPS office, and on June 26 it was held online via a zoom meeting. The training was attended by nine officers, of which 8 were partners as PCL and one was an organic employee as PML.

In general, the aim of implementing Economic Business/Company Directory Updating is to update business/company data that may not have been updated during the BPS Updating or survey activities, and clean the Statistical Business Register (SBR) data from businesses/companies that are inactive and no longer operating. SBR is a structured and regularly updated list of economic units in a region, which is maintained by statistical institutions for statistical purposes.

Based on this objective, the implementation of the Economic Business/Company Directory Updating Activity is expected to improve the quality of SBR data in providing an up-to-date business/company database for preparing the master framework for economic surveys and business unit statistical data.
