Implementation of the Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) March 2021

Banjarnegara - Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) is a survey activity that is routinely conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to provide development data in the socio-economic sector at the national, provincial and district / city levels. Data collection activities through Susenas will be carried out in March 2021.

The March 2021 Susenas data collection covers 345,000 households in the regular census block, excluding those living in special census blocks, such as military complexes and the like as well as special households located in regular census blocks. The sample households were enumerated using the Core Questionnaire (VSEN21.K) and the Consumption / Expenditure Questionnaire (VSEN21.KP).

Not to forget, BPS Kabupaten Banjarnegara also carried out Susenas activities in March 2021. This activity began to be carried out on March 1, 2021 and began with the implementation of listing / household registration in the 84 selected Census Blocks. The results from the household registration will be used as the basis for determining the sample of households that will be collected by enumerators in the field.

In the end, data collection carried out on the Susenas March 2021 will produce 3 out of 4 national development target data, namely the poverty rate, the human development index (HDI) and the Gini ratio. Susenas is the main basis for meeting data needs for the government in implementing national development so that it is in line with international development goals (Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The data collected routinely by BPS on Susenas activities are able to provide an overview of development progress portraits. The portrait must be presented accurately so that it can be trusted by the public at large.
