BPS Banjarnegara Sunbathing, Fighting Covid-19

Every day there are unique activities carried out by employees in the BPS Banjarnegara environment during the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Every 09.30, there is always a sound of bells accompanied by BPS Banjarnegara employees who come out to fill the front yard of the office which is quite hot under the sun.

Everyone is very enthusiastic to stay in the front yard of the office, so that the sunshine hits everyone who is there. That's right, they all doing sunbathing. Sunbathing will really help to increase the production of vitamin D in the body.

Quoted from the page Tempo.co, a nutritionist from Stony Brook University, Jillian Kulaba said that vitamin D is closely related to increasing body immunity because it has anti-inflammatory and immunoregulatory properties which are very important to activate the immune system defenses.

Especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation where the body really needs good immunity to stay in a fit and healthy condition, so that it can survive and avoid attacks by viruses that cause disease. Therefore, sunbathing in the sun can be an alternative to increase immunity to avoid exposure to the Covid-19 virus.

The employees at BPS Banjanegara always routinely doing sunbathing every day. This activity has been carried out since January 2021 and is still routinely carried out today. Sunbathing activities are carried out for approximately 30 minutes in the front yard of the Banjarnegara Regency BPS office starting from 09.30 to 10.00. After 30 minutes of sunbathing, all Banjarnegara BPS employees will return to their respective rooms to resume their work activities.
